Oologah school classes will resume Monday for students Pre-K through 8th grade. Buses will run at normal pickup time. High School students will get another day off on Monday so work crews can replace a gas line going to the high school building.
According to Superintendent Max Tanner a leak was located on a line running to the high school. That line will be replaced Monday and another pressure test will be conducted before those students will return to class.
High school teachers will report to school for a work day.
“We want our teachers and students to get back to their normal routine in safe buildings and I feel confident that all other buildings are ready to go, said Tanner. “We hope that fixing the line Monday will solve the final problem so all of our students can once again be on campus.”
